Band readies for Lions Club benefit concert

GUNNISON—The Gunnison Valley Lions Club is sponsoring a benefit dinner to help fund the Gunnison Valley Middle School band program.
The spaghetti dinner will be served Thursday, April 10 at the middle school commons area beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets for the dinner are $8 per person and can be purchased from any middle school band student or at the door the evening of the dinner.
The band students will give a special performance.
Mr. Nate Seamons, band director at the middle school, says that the proceeds from the dinner will be used to build the band program at the school.
