Shelby Cox
Young Womanhood Recognition Award
Shelby Cox, daughter of Lee and Lora Cox was awarded her Young Womanhood Recognition Award on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007 in the Manti 4th Ward.
Some of her projects included being the Junior Prom Chairman, choreographing and competing in dance, oil painting and completing a king size quilt with over 50 of her favorite quotes and scriptures. Her projects also included completing numerous spiritual goals and acts of service.
Shelby is a girl with a contagious sense of humor. She is always smiling and laughing. Her goal in life is to bring light and cheer to others. It is her desire to someday write and illustrate children’s books that can lift the spirits and encourage children in troubled situations.
