Dean Dyches
Nov. 2, 1918 - Feb. 18, 2008
Our wonderful father, grandpa, uncle, brother, and friend, Dean Dyches, returned home to his Father in Heaven on Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Dean was born in Moroni on Nov. 2, 1918 to Elvira and Roswell Dyches.
He was raised in Moroni by his wonderful parents and had six brothers and two sisters.
He had nine years of education in school and many years of education in hard work and service in his earthly responsibilities.
Dean served his country for four years in World War II and was very proud of his country and the freedom and blessings we enjoy now and sometimes don’t remember.
In 1946 he met his sweetheart, LaRae, and they loved each other to the fullest for 55 years. They got married in Pioche, Nev. on Oct. 29, 1946 and later were sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti LDS Temple.
Dean loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren very, very much. He loved his neighborhood, his town of Moroni and all of his friends very much. He was always thankful to Heavenly Father for having all of these.
He would say on his rides with mom, RaNae, Kim and Tara Jo how blessed we are to live in our little Sanpete Valley of peace and safety.
Dad really enjoyed his turkey farm and especially his little herd of sheep. He was a very good farmer and always did things properly and very well.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Moroni Stake Center.
Interment was in the Moroni City Cemetery.
