Bert and Mike Liddell

Bert and Mike Liddell, sons of Joe and Eloise Liddell of Manti, recently graduated from the University of Utah and BYU.
On April 27 Mike received a bachelor of arts in psychology from BYU. He will be pursuing an assistantship in his master’s degree at Boston College, which will involve spearheading the leadership training programs there. He will pursue a career in clinical psychology.
On May 4, Bert, who is married to the former Adreanne Bluff, and a father of three, was awarded a civil engineering degree from the University of Utah. The following day he was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Air Force. His grandfather Joseph T. Liddell, an officer and veteran of World War II, administered the commissioning oath, after which Bert’s brother, Sgt. Joseph M. Liddell, a teacher and intelligence instructor at Goodfellow Air Base in San Angelo, Texas, delivered the first salute to Bert. Lieutenant Liddell will report in July at the Altus Air Force Base in Altus, Okla.
