EPHRAIM—The Ephraim Senior Center and Ephraim City have formed a partnership to provide bus shuttle service to Provo for Ephraim residents.
Initially the shuttle service will be offered twice a month with the hope that a good response could bump the service up to a weekly run.
Once a month, the shuttle will depart to the Provo Towne Center Mall. The shuttle will also depart to the Utah Valley Medical Center in Provo once a month. Pick-up times in Ephraim are as follows: 8 a.m. at the Ephraim Senior Center, 8:15 a.m. at the city hall and 8:30 a.m. at Wal-Mart.
All shuttles will depart from Provo at 2 p.m.
The first shuttle trip is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 13 and is bound for the Provo Towne Center. A second trip to Utah Valley Medical Center is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 27. A $10 fee is associated with the shuttle service, but that rate may be change depending on the number of patrons to the service.
Ephraim City and Ephraim Senior Center are currently working to provide a Saturday shuttle service to accommodate college students.
For more information or to reserve a seat on the shuttle for either trip, contact the Ephraim Senior Center at 283-6310.
