MANTI—The restaurant next door to the Country Village Motel has a new look, a new brand and a new atmosphere.
The new owners, Gary and Becky Day from Milburn, plan to open their restaurant, Stockmen’s Grill, Monday Aug. 4 with an all-you-care-to-eat spaghetti buffet, complete with salad and bread sticks.
Moroni City Hall back in city hands

MORONI—The Moroni City Council, which has been trying to sell its old city hall for the past three months, voted July 17 to let a family who had purchased the building in June out of their contract.

EPHRAIM—Ephraim has a new law office, Snow and Associates, started by a new kind of attorney.
Her name is Marla Snow, a farmer’s daughter from Canada. She spent 17 years as a nurse, raised a family and started law school after her youngest was out of the house.
