            STERLING—Arla and Clair both grew up in Sterling, where they still live. Arla was born in the town, and the more footloose Clair moved to Sterling from his grandmother’s farm in Mt. Pleasant 73 years ago, when he was five.

            MANTI—Jane Anderson Braithwaite is a familiar name to most Manti residents. Born in Provo in 1930, she has been deeply involved with Manti’s civic affairs for most of her life.
