Charges
Mt. Pleasant
Rusty Lee Allen, Mt. Pleasant, is charged with forgery, a felony, and theft, a misdemeanor.
Allen was arrested by a county deputy Dec. 7. The full details of the incident have not been released.
Sentencing
Ephraim
Jose Lopez, Ephraim, pleaded guilty to driving on a denied license, a misdemeanor.
Sixth District Court Judge David L. Mower sentenced Lopez to serve nine days in the Sanpete County Jail and pay a $250 fine.
Lopez was granted credit for the nine days he has already served in the Sanpete County Jail.
A county deputy pulled Lopez over because his license plate light was out and subsequentially discovered Lopez was driving on a suspended license.
Mt. Pleasant
Pilar Gutierrez, Mt. Pleasant, pleaded guilty to DUI, a misdemeanor.
Sixth District Court Judge David L. Mower sentenced Gutierrez to serve 10 days in the Sanpete County Jail and pay a $1,500 fine.
